Cherokee National Forest Botanist/Ecologist Mark Pistrang periodically offers guided wildflower walks! The Forest is excellent for viewing a variety of spectacular species. Walks typically follow a trail that is relatively flat and easy for hikers of all abilities.  Nearby campgrounds typically have picnic tables and vault toilets, and participants should come prepared for a few hours of being outdoors in the forest.  Transportation to and from the site will be provided, as will a box lunch.
