Attending the national conference for the Public Lands Alliance is a top priority for Partners. This national organization represents 500 public sites, including national parks and forests, plus their nonprofit organizations. PLA works to build and elevate effective nonprofit organizations and exceptional public-nonprofit partnerships for the benefit of public lands and their users.

Partners have been an active member for three years. In that time, our nonprofit has been active at national conferences, participated in online webinars, collaborated with other member organizations, and developed solid working relationships with PLA officers.

Partners were honored to be the featured organization in a recent PLA Member Spotlight. http://www.publiclandsalliance.org/blogs/amanda-keith/2016/12/19/partners-of-the-cherokee-national-forest-collaborate-to-create-a-regional-recreation-map
